Jessie Carty's writing (poetry, fiction, and non-fiction) has appeared in publications such as, MARGIE, decomP and Connotation Press. She is the author of seven poetry chapbooks which include "An Amateur Marriage" (Finishing Line, 2012) which was a finalist for the 2011 Robert Watson Prize as well as her newest full length collection "Practicing Disaster" (Aldrich, 2014).
