Jill Palmer is a novelist and cryptid from northern Appalachia. She writes feminist horror and dystopian fiction for young adults, which includes her upcoming YA debut, Frostbite. As an author, Jill strives to create the role models she needed as a little girl. She was born and raised in Central Pennsylvania, where she first discovered her love of nature and spooky stories by exploring the woods behind her childhood home. Jill received her bachelor’s degree in Professional Writing and Integrated Media Arts from Juniata College in December of 2019. Currently, she is pursuing her MFA in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. During the day, she works as a Communications Coordinator at an insurance company. In her free time, she enjoys collecting small found objects and getting lost in the woods.
