J.K. Hawk was born in Waterville, Maine (1979): He grew up in Vassalboro Maine, and still resides in his hometown to this day. His interest in writing began during his high-school years, and although it has always been a passion, it took a back-seat for a long time as he focused on his family. An outdoor enthusiast, Mr. Hawk has always striven to learn more about the natural world and how to survive off off it in a worst-case scenario. His first book, The Nameless Survivor, taps into that interest with a realistic look into a post-apocalyptic world. Currently he has three novels under his belt and is working on a long-deliberated fourth project that he hopes will create a new world of horror for every reader.
