A romantic and idealist with a strong sense of duty, Joseph Campbell has always made the choice to serve. After six years in the military, he returned to his southern roots for a career as a peace officer. When asked about his writing, he proclaims that he is simply a teller of tales. Always, he has loved science fiction and fantasy, and this, along with the desire to entertain, motivated him to create his own stories. His debut novel, a fantasy adventure, was initially written for the enjoyment of his children, but he has since decided to share it with all. In his spare time, when not serving his community or doing his best to be a good husband of twenty-four years and father of two, Joseph slips away to wondrous places full of magical people.
