Joan Mitchell, a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet from St. Paul, Minnesota, is the editor of the gospel-centered programs Sunday By Sunday for Adults, Spirit for teens, and the Pflaum Gospel Weeklies for children. Her catechetical work with the gospels led her back to school in midlife to study theology. She holds a Masters in Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School and a Ph.D. in New Testament from Luther Seminary in St. Paul. She has joined in the work of reclaiming women's importance in Jesus' ministry and gives frequent talks, retreats, and workshops. Joan is one of the founders and editors of Good Ground Press.
