
Raised in rural Pennsylvania, Jodi lived in Vermont for twenty-five years, and recently settled on the coast of Maine. Her debut story collection, They Could Live with Themselves, was runner up for the Press 53 Prize for Short Fiction, a 2017 IPPY Silver Medalist, and finalist for the 2017 Maine Book Award. "Rest Stop" appears in North by Northeast, and "Deep End" was anthologized in the Short Story America Volume IV. Her stories also appear in a number of literary journals including upstreet, Carve Magazine, Whitefish Review, Green Mountains Review, Connotation Press, and others, and have won the Short Story America Prize and placed second in the Raymond Carver Short Story Contest. She holds an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts.
