Joey Held is a writer, podcaster, and author based in Austin, TX. He’s covered marketing, sports, music, travel, and insurance for more than a decade, and is the founder of Crisp Bounce Pass, a newsletter exploring the intersection of basketball and pop culture. As a podcaster, Joey produces and hosts Good People, Cool Things, featuring conversations with entrepreneurs, writers, musicians, and other creatives. He’s also the producer and co-host of Parks n Wrecked, a show about Parks and Recreation with a parks and rec employee, all while getting “wrecked” with local beverages. Kind, But Kind of Weird: Short Stories on Life’s Relationships is his first full-length collection of stories.
