John D. Davis, CPA/ABV, CVA, CFE is a Certified Public Accountant, Accredited in Business Valuation by the American Institute of CPA’s, a Certified Valuation Analyst by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and a Certified Fraud Examiner by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He founded Davis & Company, CPAs in 1988, where business valuation and consulting is his primary focus. Mr. Davis has extensive experience in pricing, negotiating and structuring business transactions relating to purchases, sales and mergers. Because of his diverse background, he also provides consulting services regarding capitalization, profit improvement, and general business planning. In addition to his professional accounting experience, Mr. Davis is an active shareholder in several businesses in addition to his accounting practice. He has purchased five companies, one of which was sold, and three of which he continues to successfully operate.
