I am the author John Omaha. Omaha was not my birth name, it's where I was born. There is a wealth of information about why I author in what I just disclosed. I write to express myself and the deeper motivation is to be heard. I've had a ton of life experience; molecular biologist, college professor, drug dealer and addict, and licensed marriage and family psychotherapist. I retired from my practice in 2018 and set out to author books. So far I've done five. They're all excellent. CRAY CRAY NAYSHUN, last year's book, is the most well-written. I work psychotherapy into CRAY CRAY. The book's main character, Barry Wild, is a standup comedian. He uses his imagined psychotherapist as a joke-hook. The jokes deal with contemporary issues like addiction, sex, racism, and AI. I had fun writing it, and you will enjoy reading it.
