John Turner is from a small town about the 30 minutes southwest of Cleveland Ohio. He grew up in a large family with very little means. He and his brothers enjoyed telling stories and offering story titles for the imagination to write the story within minutes of hearing it. His poetry is a reflection of his observation of life and the human condition. In this his very first published book, he has already garnered critical acclaim by winning awards in several literary competitions such as the 2013 USA Book awards, 2013 Readers favorite literary awards, 2014 International books awards, any many others,.. he invites everyone who enjoys reading and using their imagination, to take a journey with him, as they enjoy the poetic words written in his first book entitled, Take This Journey With Me Poems from the Laboratory of John Turner
