
Jonita Mullins, an award-winning author and speaker, grew up in the small town of Haskell, Oklahoma and currently lives in a 100-year-old fixer-upper in a beautiful historic neighborhood. Jonita has published eleven books including fiction and non-fiction as well as a cookbook. All her books focus on history. Mullins has appeared in the indie documentary “Less Traveled: A Journey from Pine to Palm,” which celebrates the first north-south interstate highway in North America. Her book The Jefferson Highway in Oklahoma focuses on this old highway. It won Best Non-Fiction Book for 2017 awarded by the Oklahoma Writers Federation.
