Jonny Halberg is a Norwegian author and dramatist, now living in Moss, Jeløya. He studied at Forfatterstudiet i Bø. He has been one of the front figures of 'dirty realism' in Norway since his debut in 1989. Together with pål Sletaune he wrote the scripts for two Norwegian films, Budbringeren and Amatørene. Halberg was the editor of the magazine Vagant in 1998.
