Born and raised in south Mississippi, she has always had a love of reading. At the age of nine, she declared to ​her mom that she wanted to write books when she ​grew up. It wasn’t until after telling her children that they ​could be anything they dreamed that she realized she ​wasn’t chasing her own dreams. Jordan is a lover of libraries, family farms, antiquing with ​her husband, advocating for children in foster care, and ​being a lifelong learner. Jordan resides with her husband and three children on ​their third-generation family farm in rural Kansas. And ​yes, her cats are named Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash. Her passion is to write stories that show the magic of ​love that brings hope and healing. She promises happily ever afters always.
