Born in a small town in Rhode Island, I was always interested in written words. However, I did not gain notice until I had entered college in Boston and was the first freshmen to be invited into a study program where I studied and wrote under the mentoring of a published poet. After college, I was called back to Rhode Island because of a family emergency and my direction was forced to change. As a writer, I never lost my passion for the written word or my desire to live near the sea. Years later, I decided to pursue the written language, once again, pitch my prose atop a synthesis of confessional folk stories with a twist through independent publishing.
