José Roberto Saravia is an English literature professor and literary critic. He likes almost all kinds of fiction, but science fiction, fantasy and horror are among his preferred genres. Some of his short stories have been part of different anthologies. His first book, Segmentos en la vida de un monstruo y otras historias fantásticas, which compiles 21 short stories, was published in 2014. Two years later, in 2016, he published the digital/paper hybrid book Detective QR y el adorno desaparecido, an interactive detective story that uses QR codes to enrich the reading experience. His latest works (2018) are Instantes tenebrosos: Microrrelatos perturbadores y Los engranajes del tiempo.
