I’m JR Erickson, also known as Jacki Riegle in a slightly more tangible reality. I’m the author of the urban fantasy series Born of Shadows, which includes Ula and coming soon Sorciere. Though I love fantasy, I’m not a one-genre kind of girl. My chick lit book Skidmarks on My Heart is in the editing process and I also have some paranormal fiction that I hope to publish in the next several months. Like most writers, I have a million ideas competing for the page so rather than stifle any of that juicy creativity, I try to let it flow. Sometimes that includes painting in the bathtub with my one year old and other times it turns into actual words on a page. I was born and raised near Mason, Michigan, but I wandered to the north in my mid twenties and I have never looked back. These days, I pass my time in the Traverse City area with my fabulous excavator husband, our wild little boy and our two crazy kitties Beast and Mamoo.
