Judith became a mother at seventeen. She later earned her B.A. from UMass Lowell and an MFA from Emerson College. She's taught writing to both college and high school students, and for fifteen years worked with young parents at the Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association in Lowell, MA. Her poetry and other writings have appeared in numerous journals, magazines, and anthologies. She has attended the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, the Vermont Studio Center, the Dorset Writer's Colony, and Wellspring House. She lives in Vermont with her husband and has two sons who both earned degrees in chemical engineering. Her next book, Spirits Dancing Into Light, a poetry book, is forthcoming from Loom Press.
