Having lived a basically boring life until early midle age, it was time for something interesting to happen. So I went to law school. It was fun but in the end didn't make much difference until my degree and the chance meeting with a long missing friend combined to provide an opportunity to escape into a new life in Rome, Italy. My husband and I spent ten years living the dolce vita (with a few hiccups on the way). Now retired, I travel as often as possible in between volunteering for arts and literary organizations. I am starting work on my second novel, also set in Rome.
