Part of Series

She won't be forced into an arranged marriage... But no matter where she goes, he'll use any means to find her... When Julia Ellis overhears her fiancé's sinister intentions, she decides to do the only thing she can think of to escape and decides to become a mail-order bride in America. She's always dreamed of the land across the sea. Forever impulsive, she sneaks onto the ship of her longtime friend, Philip Reinholt, and disguises herself as a man. But Philip isn't fooled. When he learns of her plans to become a mail-order bride and that his ship is her secret passage to reach her destination, he's beyond upset with her impulsive plan but insists on helping. Little do either one of them realize that her intended is better at tracking her than they bargained for.

Author

Kandice E. Geddes
Author · 12 books

Kandice Geddes was born and raised beside the red hills of St. George, Utah. She discovered her love of writing as a small child and began creating stories about mermaids falling for dashing princes. Thank you, Disney. And it only continued from there. She graduated from Southern Utah University with a track scholarship in Elementary Education and taught 1st Grade for four years. While living in northern Colorado, she rediscovered her love of writing, especially within the world of sweet romance, and has been pursuing it ever since. Some of her other loves are: reading, drawing, sugar cookies, watching Disney movies (shocker I know), and spending time with her swoony husband and two highly spirited boys.
