I was born in Leicester and support the Tigers and the recently relegated Foxes. I attended school in Yorkshire and university in Liverpool. I have visited 94 countries and territories. My most recent trips were to Islay, Jura, Madeira, Porto Santo, mainland Portugal, the islands of British Columbia, the Yukon Territory, Montreal, Ottawa, and Winnipeg. I love photography and writing. My newest book is called Our Cats in Amsterdam and is the sequel to the Diary of a Buddhist Cat.
