Julie Solano is a native of Northern California. She is the mother of two, Kaitlyn and Caden. Julie attended college at California State University, Chico. Graduating Cum Laude, she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Child Development. She went on to study education, and currently teaches at a middle school in Northern California. Julie is passionate about her family, faith, and education. Outside of her work, Julie enjoys participating as a sports mom, spending time outdoors, hiking, water and snow sports, four-wheeling, reading, gardening, kickboxing, and music. Her first published novel, When Fall Breaks, is a young adult novel dealing with the emotional impact of an abusive teenage relationship. This story was co-written with her best friend, Tracy Justice. Collectively, they call themselves JT Authors. Since their fist novel, they have co-authored two additional novels in their series, Seasons of Jefferson. If you enjoyed When Fall Breaks look for The Dead of Winter and Secrets of Spring. Most recently, Julie and Tracy contributed a short story, Saving Ava Grace, to the exclusive Bookworm Box anthology, One More Step. In its first week, it hit the top 10 best sellers on Amazon.
