I've been an ER physician for over 15 years. I enjoy writing about medicine and have been inspired by many real-life experiences. You'll find plenty of medical drama in my stories, but no shortage of humor either. I received my medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in 1997. Prior to that I obtained a degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1993. I also served as a physician and Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of Major. I was active duty during 9/11 and saw the military change in an instant. I was part of a unit that was awarded the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with Valor. I have two daughters, two dogs, and one very large cat:)
