My last name is pronounced Dick-ee (’nough said). I left the lucrative-but-boring field of accounting to pursue my dream of having superpowers, or at least writing about superpowers. I dig surfing (even though I’m not good at it). I also greatly enjoy needlepoint. Yes, needlepoint. It’s wicked relaxing (and tremendously embarrassing to admit)! I love reading and tend to bounce from one genre to another depending on my mood. Favorite authors are Christopher Moore, Janet Evanovich, Carl Hiassen, and Christopher Paolini to name a few. I live in the great Midwest with my man, two kids, and dogs.
