Katie-Beth Shinn (KB to her friends) wrote her first story at age 6 and dreamed of being an author ever since. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in Women’s Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Master’s in K-12 Library Science from East Carolina University. When she's not working on her novels or hanging out at the library, K.B. loves Brazilian jiu jitsu, running, aquariums, and sewing. A caffeine addict and avid reader, she also writes a Tumblr blog, Bookworm and Bandersnatch, to talk books, life, and the joys of being a librarian. Originally from North Carolina, she divides her time between her native state and Washington.
