Kahlani now resides in a small town called Kalgoorlie. Her passion for reading was ignited at a young age when she fell in love with Anne of Green Gables by L. M. Montgomery, a book that sparked her imagination and set her on the path to becoming a writer and educator. Kahlani B. Steele used a pseudonym under which she published her debut novel, Resilient.
