Jackson Arquette is an 18-year veteran detective who has been assigned to work a homicide investigation. While inspecting the crime scene, he finds that the victim had been horribly mutilated with their body parts scattered about the scene. After locating one of the legs of this victim as it stuck out, foot first, from beyond a pile of garbage bags, a trail of blood flowing downward on the wall near it, led Arquette to then discover the other leg atop of a fire escape directly above him. This one scene marks the beginning to a trail of unexplained murders soon to follow, one after another.Meanwhile, at a psychiatric hospital on the outskirts of the city, a patient by the name of Karman Anderson is in a session with her therapist discussing traumatic episodes she experienced during her teenage years. These episodes resulted from being, both, mentally and physically abused during the times she that was bullied. Over the many years, Karman has struggled mentally with trying to forgive her tormentors…until recently, after meeting a friend, she decided to seek restitution in her own way. As both of these characters’ stories unfold, they will ultimately find out why their paths have crossed.
