Kat is a storyteller who focuses on writing good stories more than a certain genre. Her first book was a historical novel, Stepping Across the Desert, set between Algeria and London in 1832. Her second book was a magical realism novel, An Audience with the King. Her third book, Coffee Stains, is a women's fiction novel that follows Ana as she deals with he consequence that comes after stealing a university scholarship. In 2021 Kat started the Creative Writing Community as a place for writers to get together to write and learn. There are writing sprints, masterminds with experts and brainstorming sessions. Between working with her fellow writers in the Creative Writing Community and writing her next novel, you can find Kat traveling the world, studying another language, reading a good book or volunteering at her local church —-with a cup of cold brew close by.
