Kat Saturn is an author, artist, and researcher from Portland, Oregon. From a young age, her interest in the mysteries of the universe led her to seek ancient answers to modern questions. After a period of intense soul-searching, she was called to write her debut novel, Elli Veil & the Constellation Prize, a four-year project built upon her passion for astronomy, puzzles, and cultural anthropology. Her previous academic works include “The Subtelty of Witches: A Reformation Era Cipher Mystery.” She is also the host of the long-running Rerun Theater series at Portland’s historic Hollywood Theatre, and plays in the Pacific Ringers handbell ensemble.
