Kate Shapiro is an award-winning writer, editor, and poet. She published a novel with Jack Allison in 2023, Kill the Rich, a dystopian science fiction thriller set in the near future. Her fiction and poetry has appeared in Fence, Litro, Interim, and HAD. In 2018, she won the International Literary Seminars first prize in fiction. Kate graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and received an MFA in fiction from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas
