Kathy George's latest novel, "Estella" (Harlequin 2023), is a riveting feminist retelling of Charles Dickens' classic novel "Great Expectations" from the point-of-view of Estella, whilst her first novel, "Sargasso" (Harlequin 2021), is set at an isolated beach house on the coast of Australia and explores the relationship between a woman and her childhood friend. Kathy has a masters degree in Australian Gothic literature and has published short fiction and non-fiction in numerous literary journals, including Meanjin and the Big Issue Fiction Edition. Kathy has been writing since she was sixteen, and lives with her family in Brisbane, Australia.
