Kathy Vines loves connecting with people, finding out what makes them tick, and using that wisdom to help them excel. She may have many titles when she does this: Certified Professional Organizer®, Productivity Specialist, Career Coach, Writer, and Speaker, but no matter what you call her, she loves making connections for people that help them unlock their potential and change their lives. Through Clever Girl Organizing®, the Organizing and Productivity firm she launched in 2013, she works with people in their homes or offices to help untangle their relationship to their stuff and create a plan for living more simply and more organized every day. Whether side-by-side or working virtually with clients around the globe through a computer screen, she brings her expertise and perspective to making meaningful change in people’s lives. In case you're wondering, no, she doesn't make people throw out all their stuff, or tell them that if they haven't worn something in six months, get rid of it. Some believe, however, she uses Jedi mind tricks to achieve the same outcome. Kathy is a big fan of education and keeps adding credentials that make bios like these seem pretty impressive, at least to her mom. In addition to the CPO® designation, Kathy holds Chronic Disorganization Specialist and ADD Specialist certificates from The Institute for Challenging Disorganization, and is a member of NAPO and NAPO-New England. Kathy received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bucknell University and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. See? Lots of credentials. Watch this space for more alphabet soup in the future. Kathy grew up in Centereach, Long Island, and now lives in Melrose, MA with her husband, Robert, aka “Handy Boy.” And yes, they’re home is very organized. Mostly.
