Educator Katie Ely is the author of Parenting with Focus, Rubric Rules: A Cleaning System for Kids, (formerly known as How to Get Your Children to Clean Their Rooms Using Rubric Rules), Proactive Discipline, and the creator of the Christian Parenting with Focus Video Course. Katie's experience as a teacher, researcher, and mom helps her give practical, how-to advice on training children. She holds a BS and a M.Ed. in Elementary Education from the University of Oklahoma and the University of Mississippi, respectively. Katie and her husband have two adult sons.
