Katie was born in 1996 and spent the first sixteen years of her life living in Reading, England, until she moved house in 2013. She lives with her parents and dog, Jenny. Being an only child, Katie has always had to entertain herself and as a child she was rarely seen without a book in her bag. Katie loves the countryside and is happiest when cooped up in a cottage in the country with a stack of books and her laptop. Katie currently works part time in order to support her writing dream. She spends a large amount of time locked away in a room upstairs working on her latest novel and when she isn't doing that she is either reading or walking the family dog. Katie currently has five published novels. Dying to Live was published in March 2012. Baggage was published in September 2012. Daisy was first published in November 2012 and later published in September 2013. Sally's Christmas Cupid and Glass Half Full were published in December 2013. She has also published several short stories, and is working on a series of murder mystery novellas the first two of which, Poisoned Blue and Deathly White, were published in August/September 2014. In August 2014, she also published a guide to writing, The Basics of Novel Writing.
