Kay Dietsch graduated with a Master's degree in Translation and worked as a speechwriter and translator. She is also a strong believer in the power of the heart, as demonstrated in her debut novel, The Super Code. Life was good until her children ran out of books to read and forced her in a cruel tickle-fight to start writing middle-grade novels. Now she loves it so much that she can’t stop. She is especially hooked on concocting plot twists at three o’clock in the morning. Kay lives near Vancouver, Canada with her husband, two teenagers, and an adorable Bichon puppy who is like a miniature version of the cloud dog dragon Lilior in Kay’s books. When Kay is not writing, she loves nature walks, board games, and messy painting.
