Keffi hails from the twin-island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean. Growing up in the rural village of Wallerfield, she was enraptured by her family’s culture of getting together and telling stories to pass the time and entertain themselves. This had a profound impact on Keffi and influenced her passion for creative writing and poetry. She is an eclectic, Jane-of-all-trades who enjoys exploring her talents while conquering her fears – from performing her spoken word pieces to designing book covers for her fellow author friends. She has a background in theatre arts and received an award for outstanding acting from the Secondary School’s Drama Festival in 2009 for her performance as Samantha in P.A.N.: Positive Attitude Now. She has also performed in numerous other plays and worked behind the scenes during her tenure as a member of Drama Making A Difference (D.M.A.D.) Company.
