Kelli Devlin wrote Coco’s Christmas Eve in response to a request by her teacher of Spanish at Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Poughkeepsie, New York. Its original version is in Spanish. As such, this edition is a translation completed by Devlin herself. She made the decision to translate it when Devlin was invited to publish Coco’s Christmas Eve as an eBook with ALVA Press Inc. Devlin has already made her mark in the world as the 2010 North American Irish Dance National Champion. At that time of her winning, she was twelve years of age and entering the seventh grade at Poughkeepsie Middle School. She wrote Coco’s Christmas Eve last year as a sophmore in high school. Devlin resides with her sister and parents in Poughkeepsie, New York. She is a member of the National Honor Society and expresses a particular interest in mathematics and the sciences. She does writing and illustrating mostly just for fun. In particular, she likes to draw cats . . . especially her beloved Coco.
