Hi, I’m Kerry and I like dragons. I grew up reading fantasy books that my dad shared with me and now my bookcases are brimming with doorways into other worlds. But I’ve always wanted to do more than just read about amazing adventures – I want to create them. I started writing my first story when I was 17 and in the years since I’ve studied and developed my writing. I’ve written in the evenings, during weekends, at home, on the train, whilst commuting, on lunchbreaks and anywhere I could squeeze in some time. I’ve played with words, debated over commas and lovingly brought characters to life. The Sky Riders is my first published work and is Book 1 in the Sparks trilogy. I've recently published book 2 as well, The Rider's Quest, which continues Aimee's adventures with her dragon, Jess. I enjoy exploring uniqueness in my books and I've taken inspiration from my own interesting skin condition - vitiligo. I'm also inspired by the incredible magical-looking landscapes of my home in Scotland.
