Willow Baxter is a painter, nothing more, living in Japan to study sumi e style painting. All she wants is to put her brush to canvas and create work of art. One evening, she's swept away by a man who is more than meets the eye. Akira, is kitsune who has finally reached his 1,000th year, he has a destiny behind him to find his fox bride, the odd-eyed woman, to carry his hoshi no tama.
