O-heyo! I'm L. Benitez, thank you for reading my bio. I'm the author of the Shinobi 7 Series, which are adventure/fantasy novels for kids, teens, and adults. The first book of the series "Trials of a Warrior" was published May 5th, 2013. The Shinobi 7 Series is my most prominent work, however I'm also busy with other fiction stories that I plan to post sometime in the near future. Besides from the Shinobi 7 Series, I'm also a contributing author to the short story anthology "Into the Mist" where you can read my short story "The Dragon of Mori Forest" as well as other dragon themed stories. I've been writing ever since I was a little kid. During my early days I wrote short stories for the children's website neopets.com and fanfiction.net. I always enjoyed writing and posting my stories for readers and I gradually decided to publish my own independent work of fiction. I'm very grateful for the support I receive and I constantly grow as a person and a storyteller. When I'm not writing I enjoy the outdoors, running around and exploring, and cooking. I'm a practitioner of Shotokan Karate which is a big inspiration for my Martial Art themed novels. Oh, and I love cats. I have lots of cats.
