Originally from Northwest Louisiana, L. C. Matthews is the "son of a preacher man" and has lived all over Louisiana and as far north as Vermont, but considers Converse, Louisiana his hometown. He currently lives in Galveston, Texas where his wife works as a pediatrician while he keeps house, takes care of their three cats, and is working toward a Master's Degree in Biblical Languages. When he's not writing, L. C. enjoys reading, watching movies (especially classic movies), computer gaming, studying Biblical Languages, and small stage acting at a local theater in the Houston area.
