México, 1972. Los años del miedo y la represión hacia los estudiantes todavía no se acaban. Gabriela es una joven que llegó recientemente a la UNAM para cursar la carrera de contaduría, aunque termina dedicando su tiempo al grupo de teatro experimental de la universidad dirigido por Teodoro, joven promesa de la escena artística. Tan pronto se integra a los ensayos, se entera de la desaparición de una de las antiguas actrices, quien aparentemente fue vista por última vez el día de la matanza estudiantil del Jueves de Corpus. Al principio todo parece ir bien, pero el grupo de teatro protege más de un secreto y una serie de perturbadoras pesadillas comienzan a atormentar a Gabriela, obligándola a encarar un horror inexplicable, aparentemente ligado al brillante director, a sus nuevos amigos y a una fuerza oculta, persistente, que los rodea a todos.

Born in Toluca, a small city in central Mexico, Chimal saw his first books published before he was twenty. In 2021, he was the first Mexican writer to pen a Batman story for DC Comics international anthology Batman:The World.
