Lai Ho is the author of The Great Detective Sherlock Holmes books, a series popular in Hong Kong and China, with over 4.5 million copies sold. He was the recipient of the Hong Kong Primary School Students Favorite Author Award in 2017. He is also the screenwriter for films like Glass Tears, The Floating Landscape and The Second Woman in addition to being an accomplished translator.
