
Larry Berglas is a writer, teacher, musician and attorney based in Westchester County, New York. His eclectic solo practice includes a focus on the area of art business law and related areas of practice. Since 1990, Larry has been helping artists, musicians, web-site developers, writers, photographers and other creative individuals resolve legal problems ranging from copyright, trademark, litigation and contract issues to wills, guardianship, estates, and trusts matters. He teaches Arts & Entertainment Law and Finance for the Arts at Purchase College in Purchase, NY. Larry's freelance articles have been published in The New York Times (What's New in Mannequins), Travel & Leisure (Books About the Beach), DECOR, Westchester Magazine, Hudson Valley, the International Interactive Communications Society newsletter and at PremierGuitar.com (Anatomy of a Blues Jam), at The GolfExpert.com (Golf Umbrellas: Mastering the Wet Game) and at USLaw.com (Nanotechnology and the Law). He plays acoustic and electric guitar and during his college days, Larry performed at Sloop Clearwater festivals along the Hudson River and at Folk City in Greenwich Village among other venues. These days, he occasionally may be found playing at local blues jams. Larry lives in Westchester County, NY with his wife and daughters.
