
Laura Boudreau is a Canadian writer living in London, England. Suitable Precautions, her first collection of short stories, was voted one of the top 5 “Best Books of 2011” by readers of the National Post. Her characters have been called “out of the ordinary, but thoroughly authentic and convincing,” and her flair for combining dark humour and poignant insight has earned her comparisons to Lorrie Moore and Annabel Lyon. Her work has appeared in a variety of journals and anthologies, including The Journey Prize Stories 22, Grain, The New Quarterly, PRISM international, Canadian Notes & Queries, and 11: Best Canadian Stories. She is currently at work on a novel.
