Laura Braga is an Italian comics artist and illustrator. Born in Verona, she lives in Sardinia. She attended the International School of Comics and the Disney Academy. Laura Braga started her career in 1999 as storyboard artist for italian tv commercials. Laura Braga entered the US comic book industry in 2012 working for Top Cow as regular artist of Witchblade. Since 2014 she worked for Marvel on titles as Superior Iron Man, Captain Marvel, The Punisher, Dazzler. She is working also for Archie Comics as cover artist and comic artist for “BLOSSOMS 666” and “Archie and Katy Keene” and for Dynamite Comics and Titan Comics as Cover Artist. Best known for her work on FUTURE STATE: THE NEXT BATMAN written by Oscar-winning screenwriter John Ridley (12 Years a Slave) on the first mainstream DC Universe Black Batman, Tim Fox, she has been collaborating with DC Comics since 2015 on great characters like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Supergirl, Green Arrow, Bombshells. In 2022 she was chosen to be the artist of the new Free Comic Book Day 2023 illustration. The design was used for the commemorative t-shirt, poster and gadgets for FCBD 2023.
