Originally from the south of England, Laura emigrated to New Zealand with her family as a child in the 1970s. She now resides in Wellington with her teenage son and two cats, Humphrey and Tilly. As far as storylines go, she's a fan of well-loved tropes with comedic ensemble casts and is a sucker for a happy ending. When not playing with words, Laura is an avid quizzer, a movie buff, and enjoys walking along the local coastline, and watching her son's basketball games.
