More than a Bargain

2006

Ding dong, the wicked witch is dead. Unfortunately, Meg killed him. With magic. A definite no-no where the Witches' Council is concerned. If the Council can prove it, she'll be put to death. To make matters worse, she also absorbed a hell of a lot of the wicked witch's power and memories and she's barely able to contain them. What's a good witch to do? Rely on her shifters, of course. Michael and Rudy show every sign of sticking with her through this mess and Michael's proven to have contacts that just might help. Wonderful of them. Except relying on them means that, Meg also has to figure out where she fits in their relationship. Is she a third wheel? Or could they really make a happy threesome? Ready or not, Meg's two for one deal has turned into more than a bargain. More Than a Bargain continues the story of Meg, Michael, and Rudy from " Two for One Deal" in Howl, with Raine Weaver and Jeigh Lynn, also available in print. The Lion's Share

2008

The legacy of the evil witch has left Meg with a heck of a lot of power and influence in the southwest United States. Much to her dismay, this means that just about everyone thinks she's a shoo-in to be the next grand dame. What they don't get is that the last thing Meg wants is to be grand dame. She grew up watching her mother rule the paranormal community in the northeast US and it was enough to show her that she didn't want that kind of responsibility. Terrance B. Sharpe proclaims himself to be the man for the job, however. He's even leashed the matriarch of L.A.'s very powerful lion's pride as a display of his prowess. It's through him that Meg meets an actor she's panted after for years. One of the lions, Logan Lockhart, not only makes her girl parts happy, he also fills her in on a thing or two about Sharpe that she'd rather not know. But what the heck is she doing paying attention to Logan when she's already got two luscious shifters to call her own? Michael and Rudy are doing all they can to help her out, but Michael, as usual, has his own goals that don't always mesh with Meg's. What's a girl to do when she's been handed a lion's share of power on a silver platter? Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: Anal play/intercourse, ménage (m/f/m), male/male sexual interaction.

Tangled Leashes

2012

Sometimes we get what we never wanted, and Meg never wanted to be grand dame. Now that she’s got the job, she’s doing her damnedest to do it right. But it’s far from a one woman show. Michael is the one who really should be running the show, but his newly discovered magic powers make managing his own life almost too much to handle. Then there’s Rudy. Sweet Rudy who is all about doing everything he can, but who’s just too young and inexperienced to be much help. So what’s a busy grand dame to do? Lucky for Meg, she’s got one more shapeshifter to lean on. Connections, personality and background make Logan uniquely suited to be Meg’s righthand man, at least in the public eye. Problem is, he claims to be in love with her. It’s not that she doesn’t think he’s great—because she does—but there’s no more room in her bed or her heart for another man. Just to make matters worse, a witch and a shapeshifter from Michael’s past arrive in LA asking for help. Great. Just… great.

Jeigh Lynn has always excelled with communicating. The term motormouth has been used to describe her more than once. She will talk to anyone, anytime, anywhere. A character trait she inherited from her grandfather and father-neither of them has ever met a stranger- and one she has passed on to her youngest son. In short, she comes from a long line of motormouths. In school, she always excelled in English, so it was no surprise to her mother when she sort of fell into a writing career. In college, she majored in art and still enjoys dabbling. She is the family artist and as such when anyone needs something drawn, sketched, designed or even just general crafts, it’s Jeigh they call. Though now that she has an exceptionally talented niece, she is training a replacement. Through high school, college, and her pre writing years, Jeigh worked as a dance instructor. After marriage and the birth of her children, Jeigh decided to try her hand at yet another form of communication: writing. To date, Jeigh has several novels and a handful of novellas to her credit. She lives in Texas, where she was born and raised, with her real life hero and their two sons. When she’s not writing or reading, she can usually be found working out, so that she can enjoy the decadence of chocolate: her one bad vice. She also writes under the name J.L. Langley.
