Young Paula Merino, like anyone else, has had her ups and downs. She enjoys expressing every emotion that courses through her veins, fearing they might go unnoticed and fade away. She's always written for herself, but recently decided to share her work with the world, daring to be judged. She began writing her own verses on Instagram @letras sinsentidos, then decided they should be on paper. Reading is her passion, and she's found writing to be a therapeutic way to unburden herself daily, to bare herself to the world. There's nothing that makes her feel better. Now, she's marked a new beginning with a period tattooed on her left hand's index finger, leaving behind a past wrapped in heart-shaped paper. On her right hand, a semicolon hides the scars of her past despair, a reminder that her story continues, just as she chose it to.
