Winslow and Joshua are two broken souls. Meeting was not part of the plan, let alone falling in love with each other. When Winslow moves to her father’s house in the middle of the French Alps, the last thing she expected, was to fall in love with the ski instructor next door. Between them, they carry more pain than most people go through in a lifetime. Memories they can’t speak about, guilt they can’t quite shake, and the belief that they are too broken to be loved. Trauma is etched in their bones and deep into their subconscious and they have learnt to live with it. But healing isn’t simple when the darkness still hovers in your mind, threatening to take any traces of joy away. They struggle to understand that they are worth more than what they think. As their lives begin to intertwine, they realise that they are both losing control, and that the past trauma that they had tried to keep buried is resurfacing. Will they be able to push through the darkness and allow themselves happiness?
