I write books filled with magic, romance, and characters who make questionable decisions—but, in their defense, so do I. I’m a lifelong book addict who first turned to reading as an escape from a less-than-stellar childhood and never quite made it back to reality (and honestly, who would want to?). I live in NYC with my husband of 15 years, our three kids, and two birds, Hoggle and Ludo, who spend their days screaming like tiny feathery gremlins. I’m fueled by caffeine, late-night plotting, and the sheer force of will it takes to resist writing more stories than I should. I have a deep love for dark romance, horror, thriller romance, and fantasy, and firmly believe the best stories are the ones that leave you breathless—whether from swooning, screaming, or sleeping with the lights on.
